I don't believe I would be able to write from the perspective of a pig, but you did a great job. ;)
Very clever, Brian! Enjoyed the word play & the mention of the possibly 'uppity pig.' Ha, I guess every species has the uppity. LOL. And, if only looking skinny could help!! Smiles.
Run babe Run..........
Ha. Very cute! But be careful.
I like make yourself look skinny!
Ha. k.
LOL :-)
This reminded me of "Animal Farm" LOL
I dont like pigs but Loving your poetry a lottttttttt....itzzz cuteeee :)
Skinny means living a little longer... oh my and I had pork today. absolutely loved your pig language... grins.
pigspeak. 'tis a curly tail
Very witty, Brian! You been spending too much time with pigs?!!
My younger son has a pig puppet that we play with and I don't do so well with pig talk. I'll have to follow your lead Brian.
Sometimes I feel sorry for pigs but then I remember how cute they actually are. And how vicious they can be when provoked. This actually also made me think of fat cats in politics and what have you too. I gotta say it's good stuff.
Swine-alicious all the way (home).
A day in the life of a pig...wow! great job my love. Funny and intertwined with politicking(? is that a word?) as well. I got it!! ;)
haha maybe you should look into
Adding a new pet to your zoo
Micro pigs are allthe rage
You clearly have their speak down with the verse on this page hahaha
wee wee wee all the way home
giggle! I can see that pig from the commercial reading your words.
Not one of my favorites of yours....but very, very inventive.
Brian, you go anywhere with poetry! LOL!!!
I just put in a pork loin roast and now I don't want to eat.

Great satire of our own socio/political situation. Super clever Brian. Oink.
Perfect! Loved your dialect.
For some reason this made me think of that one scene in A Christmas Story =)
As long as he gets his. Cute way to put some ideas out there to those who will receive them.
Brian, I am still laughing--that was hilarious and I love how you even spoke in "swine-ese" "Make yourself look skinny" too funny! :-)
A nice political satire under the wise words of the pig ~ Enjoyed the creative sounds of the pig, I am making myself look skinny ~
Wow, didn't know you could speak pig...I pretend I speak Klingon, but that's just so that when my friends on fb see that as one of my languages they remember I'm a Trekkie.
Great layers as always.
As to trying to look skinny, not going to go there...LOL.

French piggies?
Aloha
Just cute!
I bet your children hear some great bedtime stories.
Wonderful creation here Brian--both the pig talk and the perspective! Thanks you!
Wonderful take Brian. If pigs could fly it def could walk and talk. Nice pig talk.
Hank
sooo...eee!!! I'm with Lorraine, run baby run.
Haha, now that cheered me up. reminded me of when I was a kid and we had pigs on the farm. we used to hop on and go for rides usually not all the way home.
Thanks for that afternoon laugh. Brings back my childhood pig farming days! I can call the pigs with the best of them!
Wow ... this is lovely !!!
This little piggy went to market is one of my favourites. It's a pig of a life sometimes.
this cracks me up bri...even after reading you for 2,5 years or so, you still manage to surprise..smiles..OuiOuiOui...your pigs speak a bit french..ha...nice..
Sooo cuute ... o, and just that you know,B ... pigs never ever poop into their troughs ... they are too uppedy for that ... :)
This made me smile - still smiling! LOVE the oinky talk.....and your title is brilliant!
p.s. I especially love "dont poop in the trough". Hee hee.
Love uppity pigs ;) It reminded my of a game we have where we toss several pigs in the air and depending on which way they land, we gain points. One of those pigs is uppity.
I have to agree with Mark as I too felt a bit of political commentary in there.
That OuiOuiOui wouldn't be French, would it?
Pigs aren't the only ones who say "Make ourself look skinny!" Ha ha.
Is very very beautiful your blog, congratulations. Kisses from Spain.

clever clever clever!!
Someone already said it, pigs would never poop in their trough. Love this, though. Very clever and funny.
Ha! Fun stuff...
'he looksss Hungryeeee
Maeeke yourself look Skinee'
...thanks for the laugh!
Giving this an 'oinks' up~~~ *that means quite nice'
I forgot my pig-to-English translator at home. you have made me a bit hungry for a nice pulled pork sandwich. this was quite a read!
So cute and lovely pig:) I love it!!
what fun, Brian!!! LOVE this!
or to say it better ~
oinkkkgruntoinnnksnortsnortoooiink
fantastic, this is brilliant, I know a certain girl who will love this
very fun. Like this a lot. From a pig's perspective, how cool. Actually could've worked in the foreign language prompt a few weeks back as well. Very fun. Thanks
Glad to see he made it home to carry on tomorrow!! Ha
Hugs

So delightful!
Clever, and funny....."don't poop in the trough"!
Don't want to eat pig but sometimes I just crave BBQ. I always feel so sorry for the pigs in the 18 wheeler trucks going to the slaughter house. It makes me vow to not eat meat. But then I will cave after a few months.
Made me smile with this one Brian :-)
Ok, the last line cracked me up ... make yourself look skinny ... haha. So funny! Smiles :)
LOL, too funny,Brian. I can see that pig, too. We used to have pigs on the farm. They are about the only animal that will poop where the sleep, eat, or play. The ending was a hoot! (or an oink!)
Laffin my A off!
so funny! Loved the pigs point of view - look skinny!
I sincerely hope that some of these words make it eventually to the O.E.D. They should do, the excellence of the work - and justice for the pigs - should ensure it.
you have an uncanny ability to get inside the head of your characters. very entertaining this one is.
I didn't expect to see all those 'expectations' so well put together. No doubt our Mr Charles Dickens would have said, "Great Expectations!" LOL
Spectacular job! I have always said you have a way with words! I love it!
