i got lost, the first time,
going to your house
(perhaps this was a sign
of what's to come)
all those twisted roads
through the hills
looking for Collins & Catherine
i found neither on my own,
had to phone & wouldn't you know,
finding you, i
got lost again
haven't been seen since,
not that i've been looking,
your whisper on my ear
as we drift off sleep
leading me further away
away
away

Gasp! Could I be first?
finding you I got lost again - love that line!
oooo, beautiful,
Sometimes the magic just lingers. I love this. Wish I could have some. (smiles)
Not that I've been looking
That left me kind of sad...
Finding and losing ... loved it !!!
O.M.GOSH!!That is sssooo beautiful, romantic and precious!! Thank you for another good write in 2013!!

This will be special to Tara. I've been lost looking for Collins also, but glad in you being lost resulted in our finding our wonderful daughter 2. Glad you are feeling better.
I'd never admit it other than as an anonymous blogger, but I have gotten lost more than my share. I just wish that it always had as happy ending as what you are describing.
Lovely, sweet, a wonderful kind of understatement. k.
Awwwww.. Love this!!!!
Being lost and finding it again is an adventure. Nicely Brian!
Hank
nice Brian. Hope you feeling better I eas hearing in USA TV the flu have been terrible there:(
Take care!
Very seductive Brian. I'm going to go wake up the Hubby after reading this:)
This must be a dream because no 3-D man asks for directions....
Romantic, touching.
Sometimes lost is good--control can be over-rated, and burning maps only means you learn to fly by the seat of your pants, finding your own landmarks. (Still, never hurts to ask for directions. :P) I like the ending here, brian, with its sense of an arrival, even as the speaker drifts.
Slightly mythic, Should the narrator have tied him or herself to the mast? Now there is no saving him, and he may be thanking the gods!
such a beautiful place to get lost again in.
The words of a hopeless romantic...truly wonderful poem my friend.
I just love it when you write like this my love. sigh....
And I love being on this journey with you. Let's stay lost together!!
oooh, i love this! i like getting lost!
Getting lost
Sure worth the cost
At least I surmise in this case
But going round and round in some strange place
Might be scary
If things get hairy
I suppose that could happen too
As the magic lingers the clothes off you hahaha
smiles..it's a wonderful place to get lost in the arms of the one you love...and now go and burn the map..smiles
You are such a romantic! Love that about you. Your wife is a lucky lady!
Nice, man. Sometimes getting lost is okay.
Thank was the first sign that was ignored...everything happens for a reason!
This is a sweet recollection Brian ~ I like the way you tied it in the end, lost together, not wanting to be found ~
Happy Monday to you ~
Gorgeous!
What a wonderful way to be "lost"...
Beautiful. Thank you.
This is so gorgeous. Like a song, the feelings I get from it have a rhythm in your words. Brilliant
Being lost in that special person is such a joyous and wonderful gift :-)
Brian, I think this is the best kind of being 'lost'.......and the best kind of sleep!
sweetness
Lovely poem
Sweet prose on looking, losing and finding. I like whispers in my ear, too.
Aw. So cute.
=)
Reminds me of an old boyfriend who built himself a place back in the woods.
Lovely, Brian. Being lost can be quite wonderful.
That's the best kind of lost!
Burn the map- you'll find the way!
Lost!!! And Found!!!
That was pretty cute. I used to get lost as a kid all the time. It wasn't so fun and now I barely ever explore on my own.
Love it. :)
...finding you I got lost again...What a program ;-)
You have to get lost in life sometimes to get found....:-)
"finding you I got lost again" so romantic. I think all of us who have love should not forget to say, to write what that love means to us.

You are so adept at desribing feelings, Brian. Wow, I doubt I could ever forget... Beeuuutiful!
Oh - so tender and beautiful!
Ce sera sera ...hmmm?
Jeez, Brian, you sure know how to stir the emotions. Totally loved this, and Tara's comment was the finishing touch. I am now feeling thoroughly sentimental.
