160 - my bedside table drawer memories

ties, socks or nic nacs
stuffed in a box
half wrapped & over taped, but

endeared, as fingers
forever trace
along the crayola
card scribbles,

i luz u dab

What can you say in 160 characters? Say it, then tell Monkey.

Awwww...I have a few cards like that in my drawer too. Well, they aren't addressed to "dab", but other than that, quite similar. :)

You and MM should get together for a rock session. Our two play melodica and guitar. Can you imagine the noise?

Have a spectacular day with the family tomorrow!

Happy Father's Day, Brian. My husband still has many of those funny little gifts and notes from our kids.

The grown-up gifts that come later never quite match up to those early offerings.

Happy Father's Day, my friend. Those gifts are precious, aren't they. I have a lovingly sanded and painted 2x4 over my kitchen sink. It says mom and has a heart, spelled with hammered in nails.

My computer has been down. My husband's too but his is okay now, so here I am. No time to go back today and read what I missed. Can't catch up with anyone else. But I think you're the only Dad who reads my blog regularly. Couldn't let the day go by without wishing you a happy day.

I love that picture.

happy father's day to you. I love the card's message. I got one last month that said: "my fmle is owsm." and when asked what she would do if a bear came along and wanted the candy she was eating, she wrote: I would "sarit." what a great age!

this is very endearing without - WITHOUT, note ye, getting over-sentimental/mawkish. Oh boy the stuff... yeah, anyway, you understand your craft and that craft hoists the art up to be seen more clearly and from a further distance. I salute thee, sir

I don't want to cry here, but, did you know that I hadn't celebrated Father's Day until our first child was born?

It was my first Father's Day celebration ever.

I was SO DANG happy to finally buy a card for someone.
