months ago,
i never wrote poetry,
until this kat came along,
scratchin' in my creativity,
at just the right time
to plant a
seed
that
grew
into
my
poet
tree.
What can you say in 160 characters? (spaces included) Go see Monkey Man.
It was about nine months ago that a blog friend challenged me to try my hand at poetry, in a comment she left on a post. There in lies the power of your words, as I have since been publish and recently started an online poetry community, One Stop, with several other artists. I guess I owe her quite a debt.
She has just recently released her first book, which I can not wait to read. Congratulations Poetikat and thank you for opening my eyes to poetry.

Yes, we are thankful that you took kat up on the challenge because we have all benefited from it. But I also think that it has unleashed a side to you that was always there, but you were just afraid to let it out, and for that we are very grateful to both you and kat. She for pushing that final button, and you for opening it up. Although I do kinda think that T has benefited from this more then anyone.
