Happy Anniversary! A basement huh? My husband proposed to me in a bathroom at my parents house while I was washing my hands. It was Christmas Eve and the house was full of people and it was the only private spot he could find. When we walked downstairs and I held out my hand my mom got so excited she threw the plate of appetizers she was holding into the air! You have a beautiful wife and she has a husband with a very deep soul, which is priceless. Enjoy your special day!

Based upon my parent's marriage (and then my own), I just fell in to the assumption that Real Love (yes, caps intended) only happened in the movies...and that the glow wore off shortly after the wedding rings were put on. The End.
It makes me half sad, half happy whenever I witness a true love story in real life. It is so nice to be reminded that it IS out there.
