two cents worth

i
found
a penny
in the rain
today, slick
and shiny on
the black asphalt
of the parking lot.

when i find another
i can share my
thoughts
with
you.

taking a break for a couple days this week, allowing my muse to catch its breath. don't plan on being online until wednesday, at least. look forward to catching up with you then.

I saw a penny laying in the rain today, but didn't pick it up. Maybe I'll go back out and get it. It was laying heads up, which is supposed to be good luck.

Definitely, sometimes you have to wait for the muse to come to you. But never fear, the muse just can't leave you alone. She will find you.

At least that's my two cents worth.

I don't get it. Sorry, but I'm a very literal minded person. One possible interpretation is that the universe owes you a penny, and that when the universe pays up, you'll do the thing you agreed with the universe to do: share your thoughts with us.

??

Strange isn't it how cultural memes invade your brain: "a cent for your thoughts" just doesn't cut it.

The first half touched my heart. There is something about any writings regarding pennies being picked up and shiny, that touch my heart. I feel innocence and belonging.

But then the second half made me laugh. haha! :D

I am shocked to see you in my blog,

It was very strange feeling when I comment for people after the break...

I feel kind of bored at this moment, you surprised me...

cool Brian,
