stops along the journey
Sounds like you said it! Great job!
now i can, thanks to you. this is great
Wait, I counted 167 characters. What are you trying to pull here? (Just kidding, I really didn't count.) I like this one, put some images in my mind.
Geese backstroking...love this...you really can put the words together, Brian. I'm going to try the 160 tomorrow. I've overdosed on cornbeef, cabbage and cornbread.loved it todaynamaste
Just because I feel fearless, I'm going to try this. I love your headstand descriptions!
Creative people always seek out other new perspectives. Hanging upside down from a tree is a good one! Extra blood to the head helps too. :)
Okay! I tried it. Coming up with EXACTLY 160 characters (spaces included) isn't as easy... especially for those as loquacious as me!
You beat me to the punch on my own Sunday 160. I usually wait until after midnight Pacific time to post, but you have given me a whole new perspective (tee hee). Here is my Sunday 160.
That is simply awesome:) I gotta check this out!
Obviously fiction, because it seems that we have no more blue skies on the east coast! haha!
I always try to see the other perspective. And when I'm hanging upside down pondering life, someone kicks me in the butt.
Yes, you always give me alternate points of view.
Terrific 160 - very original!
Sooo... what act of GOD will it take to have you pen me some lyrics?
Geese backstroking-- love that.:-)
There you go again, creating something memorable in a brevity of words.
Brian, you, Rose Marie, Carmen and many others are so wonderful with words......I am way out of my league here but I do enjoy the poetry so much......:-) Hugs
I got excited with Daniel's comment...then realised you couldn't be wrong! Damn ;0)
Above the treeline the gathering below looks as if all the worlds people are gathered below. The Geese back stoke still but I see their belly.
Hello talented you and happy 2010.;) You do so well with so little,xoZuzana
i always love your perspective :)
nicely donei like the geese backstroking
it! It's sunday already? lol. I'm so bad in keeping with all the different memes and their days. But I enjoyed this one. I love a new perspective every day!
Beautifully written. Yes I can see...so clearly.HugsSueAnn
I like it!
what a delightful upside down world! quite revealing, that other perspective...
Brian,Great thoughts for a different view. You are so talented! The Bach
Headstand is hard to do, say in 160 is harder.
I felt you as you did it....Your imagery in all of your work is awesome....
Well, when we don't see it, you are great at pointing it out to all of us! :)
Ahwordsaddedtransformedjoinedpainted together.......(I'm not counting, not counting, not counting.....................................................................).
You have an amazing way with words, Brian... just awesome!
yes I can! until my head turns too red!
Well, in nineteen words I can tell you that you have won an award!Caffeinated Joe - Kreativ Blogger Award
These are my favorite posts. So much encapsulated in so few words. Backstroking - nice!
Wow. That was brilliant! Seriously Brian!
Sounds like you have a child or two who like like to do headstands. All three of my children learned to read on their heads. It used to make my so mad, until a 1st grade teacher sent home a poem about how kids learn to read...even when they are doing headstands. ;-)
Yes, especially after reading your posts. Thanks and smiles.
I like the upside down look!
nice i like it
Okay now I am dizzy from being upside down.
If a picture is worth a thousand words, then your 160 characters create a masterpiece.Bravo!
I don't know why, but this reminded me of when I was a child, my favorite "toy" was a prism. I'd walk around my apartment trying to peer through the different lenses - the upside down view was my favorite. Thanks for nudging me to that memory!
I can see it now.
Brian, I TOTALLY love your perspective and creativity on this piece. Rock on! :)
