55 - anyway

lint,
a crumpled receipt,
meager few coins
clink
on the bedside table,

no pearls,
nor sparkling diamonds,
a castle humble
at best,
no promise of tomorrow
for its
not mine to give,

all i have
to lay at your feet
is me,
my heart
but you don't
ask for more,

you just
love me,
anyway.

tell a story in 55 words. give it a try or just read more, go see g-man.

i hope you all have an amazing new year. thanks for making this last one incredible.
