Nice! I enjoy waking up before dawn and watching the sun come up every morning too! And I have often said that each new day is a new canvas. We think alike!

nice. very motivating.

Today I'm feeling better from my cold. I'm painting my CANVAS with exercising; reading; working from home; smiling a lot at my 13 year old son who is home this weekend. Enjoying a cozy home.. eating well......and knowing that my cold is almost gone...

Fog lifting from my canvas.. having a cold feels a bit like being in a fog.. and i like the idea of orange - pink breathing in a sunny day for me.

The sun is out too today after it was cloudy for days..

Happy day Brian...

I hope your children are enjoying their toys from Christmas..

Perfect poem for today. A fresh start is right in order!

You have such a gift with words. I love how you weave them together.

I wish I could put this realization into practice. I need to start with a fresh canvas and work to fill it in the way that I want it!

Sunrise? I know of this. I have a fabulous view of mountains and water from my living room window. And I've mentioned many times that it's like a painting that is always the same view but still is constantly changing. I get pink-pink sunrises and the most amazing sunsets you can imagine in the spring, summer, and fall. In winter, things are a little bit grey - but still the painting is there. And it's wonderful. Thanks, Brian for your word painting.

do we have to paint you? Whaaa, what a responsibility! Can we go wild? Mix big strokes of colors ...or should it be a more delicate juxtaposition of colors?

Thank you for painting our day with beautiful images and word combinations.

Have you ever been published? Your words are never campy or trite. Today aptly describes what you do. You paint a new masterpiece with each story, as your words paint the world of your mind and heart. Bravo. Lisa ;)

Brian,
As Boitano stated while skating once; our lives our as a white canvas: what we do with them is our choice. We are destined to create or cut our own way and life through creativity of compostion, style, and determination.
Great post!

i wonder who the artist would be, Brian. my favourite one, i think, well - it's a toss up between gustav klimt and andrew wyeth. somedays i feel like picasso has painted me. but no one would recognize me as a picasso. just that i feel all jumbled and in pieces and abstract. i loved the imagery in this. you really impress(ionist) me. ;)
