Periodically, Cole will wake up around 6:00 AM, and in a gravelly voice that would make the dead shiver he says, "Logan, wake up..." No wonder he has nightmares sometimes.
Just the other day, Logan started foaming at the mouth...

They have been at the grandparents house while we traveled this week. Can't wait to see them. [And I think the grandparents are ready to give them back. Smiles. What can I say, boys will be boys.]

Please tell me they didn't put bubble bath in Grandma's swimming pool :-)
Love the pic! Safe travels home.
MUST know the story behind that pic. Is it in a previous post that I missed? You are just too, too prolific, man!
great picture - but isn't he a little young for the foam parties?
omg! cute pic but wth? I want to know the story behind this!
Boys will do that, won't they?
;)
You know, I often wondered what happened after those pigs went over the cliff too!
And you boy was sure foaming at the mouth, I see.....
Actually, it looks like your boys were having the time of their life in bubbles! I know you must miss them terribly. This was a cute post.
You're going to just leave us wondering about all of the bubbles?
I know you're getting some peaceful moments with the spouse. Love the foaming picture; did grandpa encourage this behavior?
looks like grand fun! So cute!
Look at all those bubbles!! How FUN! Us kids used to load our pool with Mr. Bubble when we were kids...then we'd run 'round and 'round until there was a huge pile'o'bubbles in the middle...the at the count of 3 all jump into the middle of it. I think that was one way my parents thought it best to save money on giving 4 kids baths... ;)
Thats a lot of foam from a mouth!
oh he'll sure know how to organise foam parties at college :D
Please tell me they didn't put bubble bath in the Atlantic Ocean!
That sure must have been fun for the boys to play in all those bubbles. And I too hope you tell us the story behind all those bubbles.
If I put too much bubble bath soap in my jacuzzi bath then I get tons of bubbles and the grandkids really love it, but it is hard to find the off button. And I end up with a big mess. But it is still fun.
I hope your trip is going well and wish you both a safe trip back.
God bless.
lol "foaming at the mouth" lol
I'm sure the feedback from the grandparents is going to be...awesome :)
Hope you enjoyed your travels!
xoxoxo
At least their clean, right? Very sweet photo and I'm sure you'll be glad to get them back.
lol. love all the story ideas about the picture...actually it is rather innocent...there was an event called "Touch a Truck" where they had all different kinds of vehicles for the kids to play on. this was from the ladder truck from the fire department. they were shooting bubbles out of the hoses to create a lot of messy fun.
the grands spoiled them of course...trip to Carowinds in Charlotte...Chuck E Cheese...they loved it. Somehow Logan convince gramma to go up in a hot air balloon. i imagine that will never happen again. lol.
Got in late last night from our trip. as several of you know it was for another round of job interviews. news to come later this week, so stay tuned...
the bubbles look like fun...just might have to...
Brian, ha! What fun! And I did think there was a wading pool in there, somewhere-LOL! Keeping fingers crossed for ya, on the job thingy ;)
Boys are so much fun! They are so unpredictable and it's an adventure every day with them.
Looks like a picture from a bad sitcom where the kids have "fun" with the box of soap. The sheepish look on his face betrays his guilt.
spooky at first....and then a delight lol
@subs - weekend went great, sent you a msg with the low down.
@daniel - yes it does and i would not put it passed my boys, because as travel and dive girl says - boys keep it interesting...
oh now THAT is hilarious! the picture is funny enough but the "story" makes it even better. what on earth WAS the source of all those bubbles?
thanks for stopping by my place too.
What's with the bubbles?
hahaha.... great picture, but i'm pretty sure Legion found its home within my cat... such a crazed demonic feline... argh
Whoa! That's a lot of bubbles. I wanna play.
Wishing as much luck on your venture as there are bubbles in that photo.
It's always good to get away from them for a while, so that when we're reunited we appreciate them even more.
Ah I'm sure they've had a ball! They're starting early with the foam party, wait until it involves women in bikinis, they'll be jelly wrestling before you knowit!
LOL! My Grandfather would have never wanted me to go! :)
Too much soap in the washing machine?
Love the text line tie-end to the photo! Hilarious! It could happen!
Thanks for the recent visit...it's much appreciated.
You have two great looking little guys there.
Ah... to be grandparents - you get the best of them and then you get to give them back. I hope the reunion was a good one!
@lime- i love it would not trade my boys for the world...
@val - it was an event called touch a truck...they had all kids of big machines...the firetruck was shooting bubbles out of its hoses for the kids to play in. they could hardly get Logan out of them...
@jake - lol. i have one of those too..
@ronda - i know, why do they have all this fun when i am away...thanks for the warm wishes. smiles.
@elizabeth - too true...
@baino - lol...i guess that would be my penance. apples do no fall far from trees, eh...lol.
@otin - yeah, i think they would honestly keep them...but after a week...maybe they think a little differently. lol.
@mushy - thanks for the visit. yeah they are two amazing little guys...
@jen - one day maybe i will get to appreciate that...they ran through the terminal, arms spread wide...right passed me to their mother. and then i got a hug. smiles.
As you know, I LOVE photography.
That picture is AWESOME!
You HAVE to enter it into some kind of photography contest. It is precious.
My parents were also psyched to give my boys back to us too! Chickens!!!
I bet the grandparents are exhausted. :) But I bet they had fun getting that way.
