Moments like this make me smile. I want the camera, not just to capture the moment, but slow down time and allow us to live live there. Life goes too quick. Hourglass sands slip through our fingers as we watch the ones we love grow and change. Don't let these moments pass you by without a fight. Live richly, Love deeply.

I have always been one to hate being given a camera and told to take pictures of the big moment. This is too much of a distraction. I want to be able to witness the big moments directly with my own eyes and drink in the wonder and joy and oohs and aahhs. Thanks for the post.
That is reason #9,552 why I love Monica. Before her I rarely took pictures. She captures every moment and puts it in an album. I love her for that.
