Starbucks Fuels...

Grande Pikes. Words that play my heart like a violin. Every morning, I look forward to a good cup of coffee. It helps me get my engine running, but now it seems it could get my car running as well.

Researchers at University of Nevada, Reno discovered that used coffee grounds can be successfully converted into biodiesel for automobiles. From what I hear, it even smells like coffee. You know if Starbucks gets a hold of this, they just might take over the world. Imagine everyone driving around, their cars producing sweet coffee aroma. The innocent passerby is instantly craving the dark nectar, when the green siren comes into view. They drink more coffee, produce more grounds, create more fuel. Ingenious.

No more 87 octane, I'll take a Venti tank of gas to go.

Brian, you are addicted to coffee. You drank day old coffee today at work just to get your fix. I guess there are worse things to be addicted to.

I had Dunkin' Donuts coffee this morning...straight from the source. Any opinions on the Starbucks vs. Dunkin' fight?

I'm a *Bux fan. Dunkin's coffee is pretty good, if Box is unavailable. I like to check out the independant coffeehouses as well.

Interesting thought, but if Starbucks were to do this, I'd hope the aroma of their coffee didn't reflect the burnt taste. I'm obviously not a fan of their particular brew... I'll admit that the first thing on the agenda is coffee when I get to the office though. Good coffee, mind you *lol*

Wow, your are right Starbucks could take over the world with this. And I feel the same Brian, Huge starbucks fan, I actually have it down to a science as to what time I can drink a venti or a grande and still be able to go to sleep at night. Venti at 5pm is no good if you want to go to sleep at a decent time.
