She caught my eye as she whisked in the door. Once caught, they could not turn away. I turned to the friend sitting next to me and said, "That is the girl I am going to marry." By the end of the night I had scribbled my number in orange pencil on the back of a receipt, in hope she would call. The rest is history, but that is how our fairy tale began.
Over the years I have tried my hand at poetry, actually her hand too, as I wrote a poem on her hand the first time I said "I love you." C'mon don't be shy...let's write poetry together. Mine will start the comments.
