In my quest to find the perfect Christmas gift for my sons this year, I stumbled upon a toy on the bargain aisle of Toys R Us and exclaimed "By Crikey!" I do have a Steve Irwin action figure (yeah I'm a dork), but the one I found was a little more reminiscent of the old WWF Rowdy Roddy Piper dolls. Maybe they got recycled.
Anyone else keep some of their old toys around? Mine, I keep around for the boys, of course.

i was truly & honestly devastated the day he died. i had every intention of going to Australia one day to visit his zoo, in hopes of seeing him put on a demonstration with some dangerous beasts
I've got a room full of toys that will be off limits to my kids. I don't buy them very often but I like to collect cool toys.
You really should be truthful about the closet full of your "toys" that still remains at our house with the promise "never to return" if they are ever thrown away. :)
Ok, I confess, I still play with toys...and I like it!!
Rob, we'll see how long "off limits" lasts. I do not think that is in the vocabulary of a toddler.
I've noticed that folks always use the term "action figure" when they are speaking of men's dolls. Me, I prefer my Easy Bake Oven and accessory kit. Those half-cooked mini-cakes are awesome!
I have an excessive amount of Spiderman memorabilia, mainly action figures & collectible figurines..... but my pride & joy would still haveta be the 4 original Ninja Turtles from '89
Dude, Eden got an Easy Bake Oven this year from one of my aunts and she made some cake for us. Let me just say, they are NOT awesome. It was like gum and not tasty at all! Ewwww! Haha! She loves making them though! And I love toys too! I just do not love cleaning them up!
