Feliz Navidad

Yesterday was the official beginning of Christmas in the Miller house. The nutcracker army arrived. Superheroes took over the tree. We ate the traditional meal of tree trimming, tacos. After dinner, we went to Wendy's for Frostys and visited Santa out at the mall. The boys went to bed, while Tara and I curled up by the tree and watched The Holiday. It was great just being a family for the day. Yesterday was just about perfect.

Awesome Brian, most awesome. Family traditions, especially non-standard ones (like putting up a Christmas tree, err, I mean eating Christmas tacos) are blessings.

Sounds like a perfect day similar to ones many years ago in the Miller household in Hollins. Miss those days but Dad and I will try to put up the tree today without our three little ones now grown up, our three special additions in the form of in-laws, and the six most wonderful grandchildren in the world.
